Whenever I switched on my PC, I’ll get a ‘ Windows – No Disk , Exception
Processing Message C0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c 475b6bf7c 75b6bf7c ‘ error. Can
anyone help me ?
The error messages that bother me most are similar to the one you posted.? I hate having an error message pop up that has tons of letters and numbers to look up rather then displaying what the issue really means or relates to.? If you break apart your error message, it could be related to the removal of an external media device, but parts of it also are looking for a hard drive or saying that your hard drive is corrupt!? Before you start to panic, the error will not require a new hard drive, just a simple registry fix.
To fix the message, click on Start > Run.
Type in as regedit and click on ok
You will get a popup window as Registry.
Click on + sign at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Click on + sign at SYSTEM.
Click on + sign at CurrentControlSet.
Click on + sign at Control.
Click on Windows there.
Can you see ErrorMode key on the right side panel?
0X00000000(0)
Double click on ErrorMode and change the value data 2 and click on ok
After making these changes, reboot your computer and you should be error free!? I’m still more into the research on how to prevent these types of errors, but my educated guess would have to be on removing media without properly ejecting the source such as USB keys or external hardware.

7this ‘fix’ only stops the error mess appearing on-screen every time… the error still takes place every 12 to 14 seconds or so in the background. Just look in your event log in computer management and you’ll find the error has occurred tens of thousands of times since using this registry chnage. I have the same problem and am still on the lookout for a proper ‘fix’, but am convinced that the problem has it’s roots in removing a usb device that is partitioned into two separate drives ( such as is seen with mobile internet sticks ) without using the safely remove hardware tool on the message bar.

9this error occurs on my computer whenever i connect a usb hardware.
printer, mouse, gamepad, flash disk, external hdd, laptop cooling fan, etc.
and whenever something is connected it always shows a drive F: in My Computer, but it can’t be accessed unless the hardware is actually media.
For example, I plug in a mouse and it put a drive F:, but if I try and access it my system crashes and needs reboot.
wrap your mind around this. : s
thank god i only use windows once or twice a week.

13I have been working with Dell for months on getting an ESATA drive recognized. Recently a new motherboard was installed and when the computer was turned on I received the No Disk message. My problem is that the partitions on the hard drive hard drive(C:, D: for backup and V:) now all are magically designated as primary. I was told that I have to do a backup and a factory restore and then I have to restore my data as well as bringing all the software up to date. Since I did not get an explanation as to how these partions ended up labelled “Primary” I am concerned it will happen again. Any input will be very much appreciated.

16Hi…..thanks so much for the help. I did the regedit (with shaking hands, lol), and it worked. I believe I started to get the error message after an update to a new version of Advanced Windows Care Pro. However, all is well now, and thanks so much ;).

18In my case, this problem had nothing to do with removal of thumb drives. It was caused by a particular program for creating Computer Based Training modules called Toolbook Instructor. The error message occurs with certain “books” that reference Flash files.
Whether or not this fixes the error, the fix described above definitely suppresses the error message, hence my productivity has definitely increased as a result.
So, thanks!

22Tried installing my new HP printer as the last mfp from hp just quit working….anyways, some time near the end of the install, i got the windows-no disk error. Your Registry hack did get rid of the error pop up but it is still happening as the event viewer shows.
I’m convinced that my USB bus got wacked during the install as i’ve removed all instances of the printer software but when i restart, i get the hardware removal icon in the system tray. It shows a usb mass storage device(the pc’s card reader) and once i stop it things get a bit back to normal, but now my internet(Firefox) is SHITE. About an hour on the phone with hp had me about ready to put gun to my head….they wanted to charge me even though this is a brand new printer. PS. i’ve been doing IT support for over 10 years. And this is a major reason why i don’t want to do it anymore….
Anyways, i need to figure out how to fix the usb problem, ANY SUGGESTIONS?

26Thanks this works great. However, the real problem in my case hasn’t been fixed. I have a floppy drive which keeps on reading. I don’t know which application causes this. The popup hasn’t been showing, but the LED indicator keeps lighting on. Is there a way I can know what application is reading my floppy drive?

38I utilized your fix to remove the “Windows – No Disk , Exception Processing Message C0000013 —” message from my computer. Thanks for writing clear, concise, and un-geeky directions that wok and that ordinary folks can follow. How nice, and unfortunately, how unusual.

39Thank you so much! This error message began coming up repeatedly as I was running a registry error scan, and I couldn’t restart right away because the scan was still running. I followed the directions and the error message went away immediately! I know I’m going to need a new computer soon but am trying to get all the usage out of this old one first! Thanks SO MUCH!

46You are amazing!!!!! A few easy steps and that troublesome message is gone! I can’t thank you enought!!
There is another person’s utube site that advises downloading eset & combofix then installing malwarebytes….and if all that doesn’t work, change all the drive letters on the various drives and lastly uninstall your floppy drive….I’m sooo glad I didn’t do all that and I found your site after his!
Thanks Again!
God Bless you!

48The problem I was having, like so many out there, has been fixed by following the step by step procedure given by Hemal. I also think that the problem stems from the disconnection of a USB drive from the PC. In my case, I use the USB to backup all the data as a clone using Acronis software. You can have the computer shut down automatically at the end of the backup process. After it has shut down, I remove the USB. Next thing I see when booting up is the annoying message that I now have been able to get rid off.
