I have had the opportunity to use my USB enclosures for a while now and I wonder how I ever got along without them.
I purchased 2 Thermaltake Silver River A2398’s?about 5 months ago, in one I placed a 160gig harddrive to put all those programs I use to sort out problems on computers and also my collection of mp3’s I ripped from all my cd’s so I can take my music where I go. The other I use to help in diagnosing a dead computer and/or replacing harddrives in a customer’s computer so they can keep all their info from the previous harddrive. Many of the new computers are small and do not have sufficient space to add extra drives so this helps a lot nowadays.
If you decide to use one there are a variety out there so take your time and look for one that suits your needs.
